I really like that brown colour you chosed for the armor, along with that black that makes it looks like it got burnt.
You wrote you're going to tone down the mandibles, will you do the same with the blue also (add more grey)?

I my eyes, the blue you have now is too "young" for an elder, if that makes any sense.
Toning it down a tad would help, I believe, to make him look more "elderish". If not only that, then also to create the illusion of a pred slowly getting sunburnt after all his travels and hunts but also his skinpigment "drying out" through time and age...

Looking good bro. To get the shorter dreads to hang more naturally cut the at a 45 degree angle before you glue them on.

I really like the color scheme you've come up with for the armor. It's got a cool looking variegation to it.

I'm not really sure about the pink on those lower mandibles, though. It looks out of place for some reason. You might want to tone it down or something.

So ive been reading all the comments on my suits and i like all the feedback is pretty good, but i do like whats been done so far. Everyone is like change this change that but i think its coming across quite nice. I do like the suggestion on adding more grey to make it more like an elder. N E WAY.....Cant wait to see more updated pix soon. (hopefully tonite) Good work Chris and thanx for all the comments on the up coming suit!!!

So i decided to change the mask a little bit, trying to get a not so vibe color, so here you go ...
Still need to work on painting dreads and add quills to it...

a pred color should be more of "tones" instead of over the top coloring visually speaking of course ..

i wouldn't call it ******* up ...trial and error and learning

my first paint up was way over the top in color, it wasn't till i saw the screen used pieces and learned from Mr kidd, how it should look.
