Kroenen Mask Straps

So I was looking for accurate Kroenen mask straps for the custom masks that were going around, basically similar to the ones that sideshow made for their mask since that is the best reference. After searching extensively I came to the conclusion that there was nothing commercially available. So after some studying of the materials used on my sideshow mask I decided to have a go at them. Collecting the materials was hard but I think I nailed the straps perfectly. I am very pleased with the end result.

The straps are made of rubber and all the buckles, hinges and rivets are metal.

Here is a picture of how my straps looks on a mask. Here is my WIP Kroenen Sandstorm mask. Still needs lenses and throat guard but gives you a good idea how the straps look. PM me if interested.

A bit off topic, but since you mention it, do you have any ideas for the throat guard? I made my own straps and my ninja mask is now finished except for the leather/suede(?) throat piece.

I bought some dark brown faux leather from Michaels craft store. Then some lighter brown leather trim also from Michaels. The holes in the guard are just grommets so thats easy. The hard part is attaching the trim onto the darker fabric. I have zero skills with the sewing machine, if I did I think it would be very easy to create. Looking for a skilled tailer in Los Angeles at the moment who can sew on the trim for me. I'm going to have numerous made so I'll let you know when there complete.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, name's Ham. I'm getting a Kroenen Mask kit from the US and well excited about it but need to find some straps, anyone? Also I've just got a WW2 German Visor hat which is a size bigger than I need to make room for the mask to fit under. I need to know how I can keep the hat attatched so it doesn't fall off my head, anyone?

Hey dude, I'm still waiting to hear back from him but nothing as of yet. Maybe he's away as have sent him a PM asking what was happening and no reply. Might be all good but as I'm new here I dont know who's who so will appreciate a reply sooner rather than later.
