Well, I just ordered the camera. Got it from this site, Buy & Sell New & Used Cameras Also ordered the flash, Rollei 35mm E 15B (GUIDE NUMBER 60) SHOE MOUNT FLASH - KEH.com The model number is E15B for those who want to get it. I also ordered a user manual for the flash, didn't have one for the camera unfortunately, and also a camera case. They don't have the tripod adapter so I am going to have to do some more searching for that. According to someone on this site, the International Rollei Club :: View topic - ROLLEI 16 HELP there is an actual adapter for it but apparently it is hard to find. The camera was only $29, the flash was $10, I bought the excellent condition one since it was only $5 more. And the case and manual were only a few bucks. Is this cord, Rollei 16" Sync Cord with Rollei Locking PC Plugs 40cm | eBay going to be needed to hook up the flash?

At the bottom of this site there are some pictures of a right angle adapter that the keh.com site sells, Fuwen's Web Site - The Ultimate Rolleiflex It is attached to a different kind of camera. I wonder if you could jerry rig the shoe part onto the tripod adapter, that way the E15B would be sitting on the adapter.
Toylord, would you mind taking a back angle shot so I could see how it is mounted?

I did a short search for searsucker suit. One place I figured would have it is Mens Warehouse. Did a search on there site and it appears they do, Men's Haspel Blue Seersucker Suit Separates Coat - Men's Wearhouse They also have a matching set of pants. Now what I am wondering is do you think this is correct? You mentioned that he in fact wears a white and blue striped, two button suit, which this is.
One thing I found funny is that there are only 3 different colors to choose from. You can choose between that and a solid tan, and a different company makes a dark blue with small white stripes. Only 3 colors and one of them happens to be what I need, makes me think that there is a small demand for that specific color combination,

Freakazoid...good finds. The Tripod adapter is a tough find as it's very small actually. You DO need it though.
As for the sync cord..that looks exactly like the one I have. It's long, but you can see in some stills, that he has it wrapped tightly around the bracket.

As for the sync cord..that looks exactly like the one I have. It's long, but you can see in some stills, that he has it wrapped tightly around the bracket.

Well, looks like the estimated shipping date for the stuff I ordered is September 14, :cry I went ahead and ordered the cord off of ebay, hopefully it is the correct one lol. That won't get here till the 19th. So far no luck with the Sony TC-40, Ebay currently only has an ad and a manual. This one might prove difficult. Up on ebay now is a listing for a Rollei camera with flash, filters, camera case :lol The picture shows a tripod adapter also so I sent of a question to see if it comes with the adapter, and if so if they would be willing to sell it individually. Hopefully they will. Besides the recorder everything else I can easily get, just have to spend the money, although I also still need to get the things to attach the flash to the camera. The hunt is on.

Well if you aren't dead set on which specific Kolchak look you want, you can also try looking for the TC-45. That was the recorder he used in The Night Strangler. They're VERY similar really. Oh! I myself just got a new Kolchak goodie in the mail today. Carl's wristwatch! I'll put pics up later, but after doing some searching and checking out screen captures of "Legacy Of Terror" I found his watch too!

Ebay only has one listing of a Sony TC-45, and it has a starting price of $79.90. I have found an already sold listing that sold for $11.98 :darnkids I think I'll hold off on that and wait till one shows up for cheaper. Hopefully the TC-40 pops ups.

Heh! $11.98? That was a damn good deal! Good thing I bought it! Yeah..that was me! While I gladly pass along any info on the things I've identified...I always do it after I secure the item for myself first. No need giving myself bidding competition!

Upon studying screen grabs of the "Legacy Of Terror" episode, I managed to get my hands on Kolchak's watch! It's a Timex "Electronic" model. As with other brand names in the series, it appears on the closeups of the watch face they actually buffed out the "Timex" name from the watch face.

It's in! Man this thing is awesome. And so tiny. I really wasn't expecting it to be this small. The first thing I pull out is it's case and I'm thinking I must of ordered the wrong case somehow. Then I pull out the camera and realize it really is small. Now I'm really wanting to collect the other things for the camera to actually use it :lol Still waiting for the cord to come in. And now my search for the tripod adapter and the recorder continues. I had found a site that had the tripod adapter listed but when I emailed them asking if it was for the Rollei 16 they said they actually just recently sold it. :cry Trying to do a search for a Sony TC-40 or 45 brings up mostly TVs, and this website lol.

Great thread! I just "discovered" the series on Netflix a few weeks ago. It's been fun watching. I doubt if I will be investing in a costume, but it's fun to see the research! Good luck everyone!

Alright, so my cord came in, and it is the correct one! Now all I need is the tripod adapter and the thing to attach the flash to the adapter, an adapter for the adapter lol.

Found a square end tie yesterday, woot. Was up in LA at the HP Lovecraft Film Festival and stopped at a mall. While walking around decided to check out a Macys in the off chance they had a suit or tie and sitting on this rack was the tie, and it was on sale too
