Not sure where to look for this one.
Anyone know of a maker of the Klingon triblade knife.
Like one used to eliminate Kirks son?

I knew of a few sources back in the mid 90's but can't find anything current.

Thanks

I think United Cutlery has one called Phoenix. Sumatra had one for sale in the JY a while back. Here's the thread: http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=117332

I bought a half dozen NewMoon Aliens Grenades. Hoo-Boy. Poorly cast (uneven mold lines), many bubbles.. A true joy to throw away.

to be diplomatic: newmoon props is well known for it's lower quality
[/b]

Ah well, too bad.
I've never ordered from them, but I remembered seeing a kit somewhere and went searching through my bookmarks. The pic is from newmoon's website.

the phoenix is one of the better ones I have had and the best price to get it from is smokey mountain knife works.

SMOKEY MOUNTAIN KNIFE WORKS

Here is the phoenix itself:

PHOENIX

they also have a few great other types as well every once in a while. They even had morgans dagger from cutthroat island

The phoenix isn't accurate to Star Trek III, but it is very, very cool. I have one, and love it, and I've been told many times that it shows up very briefly in Star trek generations, in the fight seen on the klingon ship. (be fast with the pause, if you blink you'll miss it.)

It's so sad about newmoon. They have so many props I want, and at such great prices, witch is nice for pow folks like me. But after doing business with them, I have to say, there just not worth doing business with. :( Not only does the products suck, but if you look at their palaces page, they basicly list a dozen ways they can screw you over if the decide to. I'm reminded of "strike teem props" who used to list great stuff one there site, but most people never got what they paid for, and when they did few had kind words to say. :(

I do have an EPS I made once upon a time that could be moved over to DXF or whatever I think for laser cutting, if anyone wants to take on a batch as a project.

If you're serious about doing it, give me a PM - the file's yours.

The Phoenix as noted IS Cannon, I think it showed up in some of the series as well iirc.

Roddenberry.com has one as well.

I made one in the style of the ST3 back in the late '80's complete with snappy blades but sold it. Wish I hadn't. :cry If anyone has it lemme know. :unsure

I made this in the style of the Next Gen. I drew up the file and laser cut it in plex at a place I used to work at. At the base of the center blade you can see lettering.

Here is video of it on the youtubes. :p

Indeed it does. I just checked to be certain. Right after the Klingons gang up on Soran the Phoenix is quite visible right in the center of the screen for several seconds. Hard to miss really. They even used the sheath that came with it.

A note on New Moon Props. They're recasters. Bad ones but recasters all the same.
