Looking for suggestions and help making a Killer Croc costume. I am 6'6" so this costume would go great with my size. The only thought i have had so far was getting a muscle suit but id rather make it all myself. Help

I thought about this costume and did some research. If you want to see some people's mistakes or great ideas, do a search on Flckr.

The rubber skin can be made in large sheets but the sewing/cutting could be difficult. Gauntlets can be small garbage cans, costume chains are easy to find, prison pants, foam sheets for the details

Ultimately, I did Bane, Arkham city which you can get some ideas from- http://www.therpf.com/f24/bane-arkham-asylum-151624/
Good luck, it would an awesome build

I checked out your build it came out looking great. I also checked out the site you got the muscle suit from. I love the way the supersuit looks but the cost is huge. Also I would only need the top half. I would like to be able to use the restroom easily. Any thoughts on making a muscle suit?

check the musclesuit tutorial by backyard FX on youtube.
once you got your suit built, cover it with latex or similar, similar to the way people do with the incredibles suit for the predator builds. some airbrush, voila, body suit. id say you can do that for around 100 bucks for the upper body. its quite a lot of work, but hey, working on costumes is fun ;)
for the mask, i dont think you will get around sculpting one out of clay, and making a mold of it.
then you can cast it in silicone/latex/Whatever. I would make the sculpt without teeth, and sculpt the teeth seperately (or find something to use for teeth). it will look better. the neck brace and the arm braces are perfect to hide the seams on the muscle suit, you can make them out of eva foam, so they stay flexible and light.
for the gloves, check out Errors Witchblade build, something along those lines should work fine

that is all
with lots of work and dedication, it might be possible to get all this done within 300 bucks.

I would love someone to figure out how to make a great muscle suit. I have never seen one look all that great other then the uber expensive ones.

Here's my el cheapo version, from another post:Re: Muscle Suit build for Captain Britain Cosplay
How about this solution? I made this a long time ago, but it still fits and still works. Using the Butterick Batman pattern, I made two jumpsuits, sewed them together, stitched the muscles, slit the inside and stuffed them with Fibrefill. I don't know where you could get some, but here, I go to the local fabric shop, and a bag bigger than a pillow costs around $5-$6. A few of these, and you're done! It has a long zipper in the back, and yes, a fly for when nature calls!
