YOUR THOUGHTS ARE NEEDED!

I am trying to come up with the best way to make the round aerator piece on the front snout. I would like to know who would want to be able to add a speaker there or not. Meaning should I make the aerator a separate part? Should it be hollow or solid? I need to know asap.
Thanks...

Here is my thought. "YOU MAKE ME SICK"!!! The talent you display with cardboard and foam is truly amazing. I wonder what you could achieve if given the correct tools and funds! Very impressive!

Go with hollow. That way, those who want to use the space for speakers or fans can do so. And for those that don't, well, you save a few ounces of resin.

I wanted to add a bit more height to the dome but also make the gap around the visor/ring at a minimum. So I cut a piece of MDF to fit tight inside the visor/ring.

I also decided to not have the upper side vents in the top ring. I got rid of the top ring and only left a small ridge to help hold the visor/ring.

From the top view you can see the gap is getting small between the dome and the visor/ring.

So here is my new idea. I wanted to use the look of the viewport windows from the clone wars star ships. (forgot the correct name) I changed the look a little bit.

The trapezoid shapes can be cut out for more air to stay cool. I would recommend to only cut out every other one starting near the ears.

And the Full Visor/Ring still fits great!

I think I will start on the snout area next. It sounds like making the aerator separate and hollow will be the way to go.

Well it feels like it's been awhile sense I've shown some more WIP pics. I have been busy getting things ready for the new baby due almost anytime now... But I took some time out yesterday to work on stuff in the garage.

I realized the bottom tube/ring was too thick in diameter by about 1/8 of an inch and was also too close to the middle ring. So I removed the top area.

Then added some TC808 to give a hard shell to apply the bondo onto.

So now I'm working on the area around the eyes.
