Is that the one from Target?
Used to work there overnight and in 2006 they got these shuttles in. Everyone one kept asking if I was going to get one once the store opened......and they were right.
Sadly had to sell it around 2009 or 10 for money and mostly the space.

its the ROTJ 2002 FAO Schwarz Version.

The Kenner/Hasbro Shuttle is the closest to the actual movie model ... with all the conversions made here by barney five it's getting even closer to make it go into the Studio Scale section

As far as I can see, Bandai hasn't ever made a shuttle have they?
They would be one to probably get it pretty accurate.
I can see that the Kenner toy is pretty close....funny, as those type toys are usually the ones that get it most wrong.

Close indeed but in terms of length still a little short compared to the original. The Anigrand Lambda is the closest of them all.

re-closing the skeletized Wings took me a lot longer than expected...

What are you planning to do with the internal wing mechanisms? I'm just wondering if there's enough tension on the wings to hold a folded position without the orginal toy mechanics, or will you have to build something to facilitate this?

I was originally talking about the SW stuff, but now that you mention it they all seem pretty good
