Hey not sure if this is the correct place for this or if it should go in the general prop forum but I purchased this Kanan saber from seller Jedi Master Holocron on Etsy in February and still haven't received it. In late March they said they needed more time due to the influx of saber orders from TFA but now it's been over three months. Last monday they said they were shipping my saber but I never received a tracking number and when I tried to ask them for one today to call their bluff their store on Etsy was closed. I've opened a case against them but it doesn't look like I'll be getting my saber. Just wanted to put a warning out in case you see a similar saber for sale or if they come back and try to do this again. I'll keep this thread updated if I receive this item but I'm not expecting to.

Also if anyone is doing any Kanan saber runs on here I'd love to purchase one. I should have asked here to begin with.

Hate to tell you this, but this is an old scam he has been running for years.

He is also known as 5postboy, tattoosby5, cookiemonster, MachinedFX, and I can't even remember any of the other names at the moment.

He is banned from all of the major saber forums.

damn glad to know this. It's too bad he's still running this scam and getting away with it. I've been away from the forums for awhile and should have checked first. It looks like paypal is going to get me my money back but it's too bad I wont have a saber for my Kanan costume.

I haven't talked to him in YEARS. He always seemed to have an issue meeting deadlines, but the quality of his work was always top-notch. He always delivered...... eventually.

Chen was a good guy, I hope he comes through for you.

I feel like I should update this thread one more time. After filing a dispute with Paypal he ended up delivering the saber within the 10 day deadline paypal gave him before putting a hold on his account and giving me my money back. I did get the saber and it looks good. In the end he delivered I still wouldn't order from him again but I'm glad to have my saber finally. For anyone else thinking of ordering from him all I'd say is go in with caution and make sure you file a complaint with paypal before the deadline they give (which is like 180 days I think) if it's taking much longer than anticipated. Hope this helps any future buyers.
