Truck air filters work pretty well. The metal part cut in the shape of the mouth grill and painted black. They sell them at Wal-Mart. Behind that there's a couple of ways to make your mouth less visible. Some people use window screen, either fiberglass or aluminum depending on which you like better (available at most hardware stores). Some use speaker cloth (but I have no idea where you pick that up).

are you talkin bout the 2nd internal set or the outside external set of screens?

for externals, the truck filters screens are good, just find the right size diamond shape, for internal 2nd sets, i use black window screen that you get from any hardware store.

they still allow airflow and block anyone from seeing inside.
