Hey guys,
Some of you may know me from YouTube as Jurassic Collectables or JC. I created the 'Goatfinders' replica nightvision goggles from Jurassic Park back in 2017, using screen matched parts from the original prop.
I thought you may enjoy this first hand look at Alan Grant's fossilized raptor claw prop from Jurassic Park.
This claw specifically can be seen at the base of the tree after Sam Neill tosses it away. It gets a nice close up which allowed me to screen match the piece in 4k. Multiple claws were made for the film, but this is the shot I can match due to the clarity. It also it appears it may have been on display at Universal Studios in 1994 at the 'Making of Jurassic Park' exhibition.
I've collected and enjoyed numerous replica claws through the RPF over the years and really feel like the journey with this prop is now complete. Thanks to everyone for your continued enthusiasm for this film and prop and I hope you enjoy this close up look.
