YEARS ago I made this, combining two toys (raptor & egg toy, and a raptor finger puppet toy):

Recently, I came across (and ordered) THIS:

Look similar? Beyond just being the same subject?

The one you made looks really good.
This new one looks too toyish. Too many collectibles have that jawline seam, or another too obvious seam.
One reason I like that T-rex I got, as they hid the seam really well.

Thanks my friend! Mine was one of my earliest props, literally over 20 years ago.

The licensed one is actually called a "Toyllectible" (suppose Black Series helmets could fit in that category).

For the price, its really kinda cool! Was only $30.00!

BTW / FYI its half the size of mine. Pretty small...

30 isn't too bad for what it is. I notice how the more I collect things, the more and more I want it to be realistic looking, even if not perfect. Vs like having a lego set of an item.
Are you able to get a side by side shot?

The one I made is still in California

So sadly, not at the moment.
