A quick project for the late evenings (when I'm not choking on fumes doing amber stuff during the day) is the Jurassic Park Laboratory Egg Incubator that the baby Raptors were hatched in. Yes, this is the one seen on the visitor tour where Grant and companions witness a Velociraptor hatching from its egg. This is to be a miniature of course (for now at least) and will stand approx 10 inches tall. It will also have a working lamp, eggs and removable lid.
Right now I'm just working out the measurements and cutting up the acrylic dome. I need to cut away the flange and at least 2 inches of the dome from the base up. This will make it about right looking at the original prop. I will add pics in the evenings as I work.
Update!
Just worked out that the eggs size will need to be 30 mm in length. I will cut out a little template to create the master egg.
