Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (Post-release)

Kevin Smith posted on Facebook that Jay and Bob are to be rebooted and it's been green lit.
Not sure how much of a reboot or sequel it will be.
But put me down for some of this. Love these guys.

He uses the word reboot in his statement, it would be a shame to wipe out the existing Askewniverse if it's a fresh start.

It’s not a reboot in that sense. It’s a parody on Hollywood rebooting all of these movies. They find out the Jay and silent bob movie they tried to stop in the first one is being rebooted.

When I saw them live last year they talked about Jay and Silent Bob get rebooted. It's chronological to the rest of the movies, the reboot in question is the Bluntman and Chronic reboot, where Jay's Chronic character is a chick, and Silent Bob's Bluntman is skinny. They are going to Hollywood to stop that f'in movie from gettin' made... again. Not sure if Cock-Knocker is back, but I'd love it if Mark was back and totally bagged on Jake Skywalker.

Ben Affleck is back, at least according to the script excerpt Kevin and Jason performed at the show. He's the one, like last time, who inform the guys about the reboot movie in the works.

I can't wait to see it. Big fan of Kevin Smith.
