So, while I'm finishing the last of the painting and gluing for the Cave Johnson Combustible Lemon. Halloween is just around the corner! My younger brother wanted to wear a Jawa costume but also carry a minigun around with him.

While the costume wouldn't be 501st appropriate, I meditated long and hard on the request, seen below are the results of seconds of soul searching...

Step 1) (Giving the Costume a voice) I didn't want to go out and purchase an Arduino board, controller, speakers and then go through ad tedium of soldering and programming so I decided to go with what was available. An android smart phone and some elementary Java programming skills.

Below is a fully functional push button Jawa Soundboard app on Android:

This is version 1.0 as recently I have been reconsidering its design. I may change the coding a bit so that the Jawa sound clips play at random whenever the phone is shaken. For now it works and my brother seems to enjoy it. The most difficult part was extracting the jawa language from various sound clips.. more tedious than difficult. Future video will be uploaded.

I'll be posting my continued progress in this thread. Waiting for the EVA foam to be delivered to begin the minigun. Mask eyes will be simple lED's connected to a battery. I'll be following an excellent diagram that was posted by one of our RPF members a while back for the mask. Feedback is always appreciated and I welcome any suggestions, criticism, etc. :D
