James Bond Rolex Submariner

Very cool, as a watch fanatic, Bond fan, and Rolex and Omega Seamaster Professional owner, I can say that I love articles like this, and yours (even given all the quite technical stuff that means nothing to a non-watch junky ) was a fun read.

Thanks all for the kind words. I've been a Bond fan since I was a wee lad. Connery was my first Bond, seeing him in 1969 or 1970 in a triple feature re-release on the big screen. From then on I was hooked. I'm also a watch nut too having more than one Bond watch in my collection including the Omega Seamaster. There is still more to collect. So many watches, so little money and so little time.

Great read.

1980 Submariner Stainless steel owner here as well as a 1992 Gold Submariner. :D

Bryancd,

If your watch was bought in 1990, it does not necessarily mean that it was made in 1990. It could have been made earlier and sitting on a shelf until purchased. If it was made in 1990, then no, not in a Bond movie. You have to check the model number.
