Hello everyone.
I've been a member on here since December, and have been building since then. This forum is a getaway for me, and you all made that possible. Jackie and Ironmaided, you guys are awesome, I cant imagine the time you put in to this so the rest of us can enjoy an Iron Man suit of our own. If I anyone else is owed credit, I thank you as well. Thank you to you all very much, keep up the awesome work! I am trying to find out how to upload my photos, so when I do, Ill get them up!

That's why I asked. I'll change my scale a little bit to adjust. Thank you! :)

Out of curiosity, how tall are you?

I would strongly suggest you take measurements of yourself, and then use the 'measure distance between two points' feature in pepakura designer - this way you can be absolutely sure that the piece will fit you. you can also import multiple pep files so that you can view the pieces together to see how the proportions work out. I've messed up a few times assuming that a scale used for someone with a similar height/weight would work for me.

I know, I'm well aware of all of that! Thank you. :) I just like to see what other people are using so I know I have an idea of being around what a general consensus is. It just allows me to confirm that what I've calculated is close to what other people have gotten.

No, it's 5 mm. silly winks from hobby lobby. I just use some titanium scissors to cut it. And thanks, I wasn't sure if I was getting the hang of this or not. Everyone else is soooo talented.
I made a mark 6, my first build. I'm not crazy about it though after seeing the fiberglass, rondo, plastic coated type of builds.

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! New Info added to first post!

Hey guys just wanted to pop in and give my two cents... I am greatly appreciative that Jackieisrockin has done these amazing files and I know it takes a lot of time and effort.

With that being said I just wanted to Suggest that maybe AS WELL AS saying "Thank you" or asking multiple times when the next piece will be done (No disrespect) we donate a dollar or two to him? I don't don't know Jackieisrockin at all but what I do know is he's busted his butt for us to make awesome suits and I think if everyone just threw in at least a dollar through paypal as a "Gift" it would be a nice gesture, especially with everyone trying to make a profit off of his hard work lately.

ANYWAYS that's just my two cents take it for what it is....

if anyone would like to contribute by donating, here is his paypal email: davegrohlrockssocks@live.com

Warped.jpgCracked.jpgCracking off.jpg
I sealed this forearm with modpodge, then brushed on rondo. After it dried, I sanded it. I was going to put on more rondo, then sand again, however, it is cracking of at the edges. It also warped it slightly and is even coming away from the foam in some areas creating an air pocket.

Any advice?

you can fix the warping with a heat gun sand it down where ever its cracking and or coming away and apply another coat of rondo.
