Jackieisrockin is currently working on the back. The biceps and shoulders still need to be done.

I'm assuming the reason you are having problems with Helegak's file is that they are for foam, not pepakura. Unfortunately, no one has created a pepakura version of the biceps, shoulder, and back. The best option is to use Helegaks files as a template.

The pep files have additional pieces in them to create depth for certain parts. Because foam is thick by nature, those detail pieces aren't needed to create the same effect.

[Edit] For those sections, you might be able to use cardboard instead of cardstock, since cardboard is obviously thicker, it will help fill in those details. Or perhaps a combination of both cardboard and cardstock.

I dont know about exact dimensions, but you could look at jackie's pdo file for the abs , measure the distance of those depth pieces, and use either 1,2, or 3 ply cardboard to achieve the effect.

Here is some of what I have been able to accomplish so far with these files. The bicep is helagaks though. I covered the arm with aluminum flashing from Lowes. It is silver on one side, gold on the other, and I painted the red parts. 20130705_001011.jpg20130705_000956.jpg20130705_000746.jpg20130705_000408.jpg

Any news on the back jackie? The excitement's killing me.
Had this for a month or two now. Never got the chance to finish it as I was waiting for Jackie's files.
Well time to let them go.

Just got my x-acto angle cutter from the mail today, so i'll be able to start making my armor now, the only thing that i have left to buy is the paint. Ibwent to my local car shop and saw that they have a variety of duplicolor paint, but i dont know which colors i should get

Wow dude! Really, REALLY nice work! And is that 10mm foam? That stuff is extra tough to work with. Great job!

Re: Jackieisrockin's Iron Man Mk 42 Pepakura Files! New Info added to first post!

No, it's 5 mm. silly winks from hobby lobby. I just use some titanium scissors to cut it. And thanks, I wasn't sure if I was getting the hang of this or not. Everyone else is soooo talented.
I made a mark 6, my first build. I'm not crazy about it though after seeing the fiberglass, rondo, plastic coated type of builds.
