Can i use normal paper to print the foam templates? (the one used to print schoolwork and other stuff)

you could... but since normal paper is not as rigid when tracing in the FOAM it could rinkle up or move around
trust me i used paper once and i prefer the Cardstock paper

yea the Thigh file has the boot instead

Deviiruchie- your chest sould be good, im 170cm tall so maybe its a bit bigger... but remember you want the armor a bit bigger for better comfort

and i neve understood the difference between cardstock and paper the method i use is printing on normal a4 paper and then tracing onto cardboard then fiber glass and bondo stage?

Yes it's fine to use regular paper for foam templates. Cheaper, easier to get and cut, only thing (like DylanSG said) is it's more likely to move when tracing onto the foam.

hai guys ! im new here at RPF , and im trying to make my first foam armor .. ill make the mk 42 ..
and i have a question here .. how to scale the abs and the COD so it will fit well ..
im using gaiatron's abs foam .. and ironmaided COD+HIP foam .. but the scale is different .. and im kinda confuse how to scale them ..
help please?

There is no right answer to this, the appropriate scale for you is based on your height and weight. For me, I scaled my abs and chest to 460, but I am 6'0 and quite thin, so 460 worked well for me. You need to measure yourself, and then use the "Measure Distance Between Two Points" tool in Pepakura to find a good fit for yourself.
