Still trying to get my buttons positioned where I like them...I have 7 of the real buttons still need to replace them all...but for now itll work Fett is way more important and have been working on it 8 hours a day for the last two weeks. And have 3 weeks till I have to goto a class in tx followed by dragon con.

I did however get the final piece the denix webley and am ready to rock and roll for now....would love to see what Risu used for the earpiece...looks great...want to make one...but dont know that I have time, the jabra may just be what I use.

Not fantastic, I didn't smooth the edges of the piece that went into the ear.

So...I have pretty much the same vest Jack wears on and off....it was tailored in korea while I was stationed there...Thinking of using the getup for this homecoming dance thing while at dragon con the wife wants to goto. Any idea on the pocket watch?

Hello! I want to get one of the official licensed versions of the Captain Jack Harkness coat. I found two websites supposedly selling them. Anyone know anybody who has seen these or can give recommendations on the accuracy? Thanks!!! Comments are welcome.

Thanks to my Vortex Manipulator I was able to come back to this old thread for an FYI...the 2 links (which still work BTW) are for the same coat. It's from Abby Shot and they are killing it on sale. I just ordered one for warmer days because my authentic RAF Greatcoat is Very heavy wool.

I've considered the Abbyshot Harkness coat on and off for years. It has a few issues,: button placement, epaulettes, and the collar is very wrong. Unfortunately, that last one would require buying a second coat to fix it. Abbyshot screwed me over a couple times over the last couple years, so I won't be giving them any more money.

I think that for a series 1-3 coat then a genuine R.A.F. greatcoat is a better option. The AbbyShot one looks more like a blend between the classic coat and the Miracle Day one to me.
