I was not expecting you to make the pads too. They are looking very well crafted.
Are you going to age them? Is a entire turtle build in the future?

acctually, i coated it with another layer and it looks better, but still some areas are sticky.. i will upload a photo for you to see soon...

about aging the pads, i would like to do that but it's not made of a reall leather, how can i age them?

here's a photo of the front shell that was sprayed with glue and than coted twice with latex. the glue still floating to the surface after it gets dry... maybe it's better to coat the build several times instead of trying to save latex...

I really like the progress of this costume, I think you are right in saying that the shell is a little flat but on a whole I think it really works. I also like the look of the battle damage on the shell, gives it that lived in the sea kind of look.

i'm not intending to make a latex body, i want it to be as comfortable as possible...maybe latex hands and feet... this is a photoshop illustration that i did to see how it will look like with green body make-up.
