Well I don't think it was all very good, too many dropped plot lines for my taste.
How often do you actually get to hear the hero wail about how much a pain in the butt it is to be heroic. Not too often I think . After all they all just seem to walk into the jaws of death with a quick witted barb. For all the many many faults it was a different way of doing things.
