I like watching predator movie,my little nephew wanna saw something about it.I find this predator movie is affordable,It was better than Predator 2.
I'm not sure whether it is healthy for little kids?

How little is "little?" I'd check with his parents first, just to be on the safe side. Some kids can handle graphic violence in entertainment, and some can't.

My 9 year old has seen them all and loved them, but my 5 year old has only seen P1 and AVP as there alot less gory in my opinion :D

I saw Predator 1 and 2 wen i was 8 and i'm 16 now, I can handle all the gore and violence. :D
Loved Predator ever since then...

I'd leave it up to the parents. I saw Predator when I was 9, and Predator 2 when I was 12.

I wouldn't sxpose a kid to any of the Predator movies until I thought that they'd be ready for them.

I dont think the problem is so much the violence as there is equally as much violence and scary stuff in some kids films nowerdays but it's whether you want your kids to be walking around and calling everyone an ugly muthafuka as there is DEFINITELY less swearing in a kids film.

Ask the parents and Err on the side of Caution. It was different for us as kids 15 & 20 years ago. I saw the 1st Predator at 5 but I had the restraint and the decency to not call people Ugly Mother-Fuckers, Unless I wanted a mean spanking.

I personally don't see it as a problem, the kid might think it's cheesy, but different times yielded different movies.

I saw Predator when I was 4 and then I saw Predator 2 when I was 6, Im 15 now but when I saw predator and predator 2 back in the day, I thought that it was cool, I use to play predator at play time but I had bad dreams about the predator until I saw the bonus feature of the making of the suit, I saw Stan Winston & his crew making the suit and Kevin Peter Hall putting on the suit and then no more bad dreams. That what also got me into movie making. I saw 7yrs olds at PREDATORS, They cried and then left early in the movie. I just saying to tell them that there a guy in a suit but show them after the movie.

i wouldnt expose my 4 year old to any of the alien or predator films. my parents did a good job of holding off til i was at least 12 (they didnt consent but i still saw it anyway at 12) reason being is its easy for us all to say they are not so scary to todays standards, but its taken us a lot of films and many years to become desensitized to thegore horro and fx of the 80's. kids are not

It really does depend upon the child. My daughter is 15, but I've let her watch horror movies for the last five years. The only series I held off on was Saw, because it really is horror porn, IMHO. As it turns out, it didn't matter; she started watching them at a friend's house. At this point, I prefer to have her in the room, so I can watch her reactions, both for my own entertainment and to read her.

i first saw predator when i was about 6-7 i thought it was awesome so i say go ahead if any kids come round and see predator on my tv if they dont like it its not a great idear for them to go into my room where my pred is standing then hehehehe

If they watch predator or predator2 when they're still kids, and if they like it, it'll add the magic of nostalgia when they'll grow up and watch them again.

I say Predator and Predator2 should be in the school program !

But give to the kids a favor and don't show 'em the ridiculous "Predators"

I was 9 when P1 came out in theaters, and I saw it with a family friend that lived with us at the time. And I have to say that for me the Predator was the scariest "monster" I had ever seen. When he explained to me all about movie magic I kind of understood, but not fully until P2 came out in theaters. So basically if things are explained to the kid all about movie magic and fx's then there should be no problem! My 13 yo daughter loves horror movies and yes I love watching her reaction or lack of to movies!

I was young when i watched my first alien movie, like 5, and when i saw the chest burster i would get this really nasty stomach ache and then i'd cry because i thought that i had one inside of me, but after staying away from those kinds of movies for a year or 2 i came back to them and have loved them ever since. IMO 1-7 year olds shouldn't watch such things.

Some kids might be afraid of the Predator character(s) even if they aren't watching the movie with all of its violence. I was on a crowded elevator at Dragon*Con in my suit, and some kid was pretty scared and about to cry. I tried to explain to him that I was a real human being under the suit, and his parents tried to explain as well, but I don't think it helped very much. There's also a video from San Diego Comic-Con where they keep a running tally of how many kids the Predators scare while in costume. It's an entertaining video, but I can't find it right now.

Also, as far as the movies go, you might want to be cautious about the language. I don't have any kids so I don't have a good viewpoint on this, but I'd hate to be the father whose kid asks, "Daddy, what's a '************'?" Had I asked that question as a kid, I would have been answered by having my mouth washed out with soap.

Also, not forgetting a certain scene in predator 2 "Daddy, why is that naked woman bouncing up and down on that man? ..... Boobies."

I think my first time seeing predator was when I was i think 9 or 10?AVP comic got me started I had essentally eased into it.Definitly discuss it with them and kinda ease into it dont go all out if you show it.That can hurt children at a young age and you dont want children really growing up with the language and scenes going on in that.My parents made the mistake of swearing like sailors and showing me this kind of thing.I cant get through an entire day with out saying ****(I've tried) :D

ha i wanna know who actually thinks their kids dont curse at school or when they're outside playing. I did it myself and most every other child in my school did too. As far as predator i dont remember my exact age when i saw it but i was damn young. Same with hell raiser, childs play, nightmare on elm street, night of the living dead. Young enough to not remember much but those movies lol. My daughter is 4 and see's my mask and was not affraid of it. What did actually scare the crap out of her was her grandmas hillary clinton mask rofl true story

predators has some language and and inappropriate subjects in short parts. but for the most part it isnt "that" bad. but its up to the parent.
