Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

WHOA! :confused
Why noone told me about this?!?
I mean, it's... WOW!
And I was...
Why none told me about this???

Great job on that sword!:thumbsup

Great pick, Ramiel! I sit and listen to the Dio/opening credits music to that movie over and over and over... lol!

And the sword? Too cool for words....

Kickapoo... Yeah, I like the movie and I love their music...:D
Now I need to learn how to play the guitar and start using that pick!:p
Well, maybe a scaled version...

Here's some more progress;

It's all very rough so far. All the work so far was done with an air grinder using a sanding disc and a sanding drum. I'm now working on refining the edge details with various files (making the edges meet, making sure the blade edges are even, etc.). If my progress continues, the blade will be done in 6-8 days. Then it's on to the grip.

Thank you very much for these bumps, I wish I had the time to post something new... Work is keeping me so damn busy!:cry

(P.S. I also apologize to all the people who are waiting something done from me, I'm trying to do everything as fast as I can!)

The funny thing is, the pieces I made from your designs (this sword and the previous knife) are some of my favorite pieces (although "Trouble" is still my heavy metal baby...).

+1 :eek:eek:eek
(Insert voice zombie here) I want oneeeee...

That's brilliant!
You have no idea how cool is it for me to see a sword I designed, made for real...
(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

+2 :eek:eek:eek That's Nice!!

Makin' me feel like a chump with work like that. Well Done!

Man, any place charging $10 square inch for laser engraving is taking people for a ride. More normal pricing should be around $50-60 an hour.

I can't believe I just found this thread! I'd love to be part of a team. I think collaboration is the quickest way to accomplish more complicated ideas. Sign me up. I've got some sculpting and molding skills. I've been known to finsh my parts out pretty good too.
I haven't read all seven hundred or so responses but I love all that I've seen.
Thanks for starting this thread. I also like the idea contests.

yah this is a great idea... i really like the movie idea with nothing but original props... i havnt read all of the pages either, but has anyone started a script to entail all the weapons...
maybe like a holy crusader batteling through time, kind of like the highlander, but its a man chosen by god to be immortal bringing justice wherever he goes, thats how you use the swords and knives, then the rifles and western pistols, then the moderr age and then future weapons

Actually... I have had an idea... I don't know if I want to share it yet, but I can say that was a sort of "Van Helsing" with a little more steampunk in it and a "Lovecraftian" flavor... I don't know how good it could be, but...:unsure
Anyway, this thread is here now, mostly to show and make original or "inspired by" props and artworks (for future props and such... ;))
So, let the ideas flow!:cool
And welcome on board!:D
