Very cool concepts Ramiel, as always.

I think I will never get tired of seeing your various weapons designs.

The guns are cool too.... or maybe I should call them phasers? or beam rifles? or pulse rifles? Energy guns?
lol, anywho, They remind me of a combination of things of course... as most new concepts are drawing inspiration, conscious or subconscious...from established pieces.

I kind of see the SNES 'blaster', Halo Assault Rifle, MIB Weaponry, Star Trek Phasers, and a bit of Gundam Wing. Any of those hit the mark?

Seriously though.... there are so many of your bladed concepts I would LOVE to create for myself to own. If only I had a forge and the knowledge :cry

*edit* The more I look at the last 2 designs, the more I'm seeing a "marriage" between Covenant and UNSC Marine weaponry. ^_^ And i love it

@ Tsuyosa: Thank you very much, and it's INDEED possible that some of my ideas came from existing things (the last gun I just posted came almost DIRECTLY from MGS4), so I think it's highly possible just because I love a lot of different "medias": movies, videogames, comics, anime, cartoons...

And, thanks, edged weapons are a great passion for me, especially swords

Ramiel, you posted a sketch of a NYPD-style Blade Runner gun many, many posts ago. It was beautiful. I love it.

Anyway, I've had a few ideas in my head regarding BR blaster variants for a while, but I only got started sketching them recently.

Here are my designs:

Obviously, this (above) is the original blaster, unmodified. That was my starting point.

Here's a standard blaster with some kind of dealie on it. Not sure what it should or could be - I just called it a Laser Aiming Module for reference. This was based on a nice Sig I saw.

Ooo - the slightly sinister military version of the blaster! Note the extended magazine well and trigger guard. Also has plenty of mounting rails.

The vacuum-use version of the military blaster. Note all the extensive porting and vents to minimize recoil and maximize accuracy in zero-G. Also has lots of clunky metal reinforcements ... because I felt like it. Or perhaps this is designed to fire a much more powerful ... ah ... 'payload.'

Finally, the military carbine. Heavy modifications to the standard military blaster frame. Obviously inspired by the M16.

Well, I'm glad you like it. A little bit flattered, too. Clearly, these aren't as polished renderings as your NYPD blue gun (oy, bad pun). I just added a bunch of junk to the gun. Tried to keep it looking Blade Runner-y.

Last design (for a while):

Compact model. Heavily modified frame, internals and grips. All external sharp edges are beveled or smoothed for easier concealment and reliable quick unholstering. Most screws are now countersunk, and all external knobs and switches are rounded. Minimum frame length and weight. Due to the extensive modifications and design changes, this weapon is not recommended for over 500 live firings. Restricted to military and police use only. Proprietary 'short' caliber ammunition.

This design owes a lot to the Hartford snub and Rick Ross' snub. It's kinda hard to smooth this puppy out in a way that hasn't been done before.

I've not forgot you, I'm just waiting the right "kick" to make those blueprints... And since I'm watching season 2 of Supernatural right now, I think I would be more interested in making those blueprints when the show will be over and my interest for something related to it will be stronger
