Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

Beautiful!

And after some work...

Here it is the "monster hunter" gun so far... Not much work is required to finish this one, just some weathering (and get rid of that "ringo colt" text and, if I can, also of those stars...)

Let me know what you think about it!

Also, if someone have another couple of toy guns or cap guns or whatever and want to send them to me, I have some other project to do... :D

Does anybody knows how to develop a nice holster for the "monster hunter" gun?
I have a couple of ideas on how to do it (I still haven't decided if I want to make a leg holser or a shoulder holster), but if someone knows how to make custom leather holsters, please, let me know;)

Ok, noone knows how to make an holster... Well, I post a completely different thing then...

My first try with super sculpey... Let me know what do you think:)

Very nice work on the razor Ramiel.

As for the holster? I've been working on a formed holster for my i,Robot pistol. I'm using a wet forming method which is pretty simple but you have to be able to press and form the wet leather over the pistol to get it to conform to the shape. Not sure how well that would work with your pistol design as it appears to be fragile or at leat awkward to use this method.

Thanks, well, probably I'll just end up doing a simple, slighly larger, pattern for the holster of that gun, but it's not really a problem;)

I used to build "mock-up" guns for a custom holster maker.

Basically, he would give me a real gun then I would build a wooden or plastic copy with the important shapes in place, no details unless there was something particular to that model that was needed. He would use it to form the leather via the wetting the technique.

It pretty easy to form leather this way. Give it a try. Having an industrial strength sewing machine helps a lot too.

If you get the basics done and then go find a local leather worker, they will usually stitch thing up for you pretty cheap.

Matsuo is the only member I know of that can give you some good advice on making a holster. He's made them for other blasters before, and seems to be not only a guru of resin, but also of leather.

And that's a damn fine first try my friend. Wow.

I'm still interested in seeing some of your designs sold as Lithograph Prints.

Give us a Supernatural Colt Design

:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

I'd love to be a part of this. I'm a graphic designer and I work in 3D.

The images...

First a set of "holy weapons" (something useful for fight a monster)...

Then a concept art (and a 3d model done by a friend of mine) of a prop from one of my comics, a key disguised as an ancient Egyptian scarab...

Well, this is just a "test", so these are some spare and quick concepts, but I'm sure we can make something WAY more interesting if we share our ideas...
Let me know :)

Ok, I see nobody likes the sword or the Ironman helmets...
So... Let's try with something that makes a BANG!:D
