Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

Sorry to be so slow; I'm still working on the revolver/rifle/sword. I've made up some cardboard templates but haven't been able to do any fabrication yet. I've been slammed with studying and work. Sometime in the next two weeks I hope to have some progress to show. :)

Well, you could always sell them without a sword.

For the buyers to hang one of their own swords.

SethB6025, don't worry, my job and real-life in general is keeping me busy too (I haven't posted a sketch since the 21st of November, so...).
BTW it's nice to hear that you are still interested. :)

Mike, that's a good idea (and I'm wondering why I haven't think about it... I should be very cofused these days... :D )
We could use MDF for the base, a wood foil (I don't know the exact word for it in English) over it, some lacquer or paint, and a silk-screened golden image, and the plaque is done... Quite easy.

Cheers guys :)

Finally Done... :thumbsup

Model GV "Made in Heaven" .45 Caseless Prototype.

Designed by Ramiel, built by me.

The first one had some structural problems, so I ended up scrapping it and starting fresh. Yesterday morn, this was but a sheet of plexiglass. Just a tad under 7" long. About the same size as a Walther P99.

Now just for some final sanding and then paint.

Let me be the first to say: HOLY $#.+ :eek

It's impressive. I'm speechless...
That's a great work John.
It's simply amazing... Thanks for your skills man.
The size and the details are perfect.
Cheers. :)

I need a cold shower now... :lol

Just dropped Ramiel a PM. KM Collect would be proud to sell these on line in my store. :)

I also want blueprints like style MR did, but of the Master Sword and Shield from Zelda... to start with... ;)

Yuck. :lol

Here she is with my interpretation of Ramiels render. Ivory grips, copper accents and dirty steel.

I'm not too pleased with how the rub n buff silver came out, but this was done pretty quickly and just to get an idea anyway.

Out of curiosity, does anyone think that it could have some electronics inside? :love

Well, maybe in the future... :D

-EDIT-
I'm still shocked, John... I was looking at this page again and I have to post, so I can bump this thread back on the top of the list, so everyone can see your work. ;)

I'm glad you guys like it. It turned out well mostly due to Ramiels design and the great blueprints he was able to provide. Stuff like that makes my life easy.

If you would have drawn it with some glowey bits, I would have put in LED's. :p

But seriously, I was thinking the same thing. I can easily imagine the vents on the grenade launcher with a nice blue or green glow. If you want lights, now would be the time, before I mold this one. I might be able to open it up along the bottom of the grenade launcher and provide a space for electronics.

Ramiel,

I'm eyeing this next:

Oh, don't worry for the electronics, I was just wondering... Maybe a future "upgrade" or something... :D

Oh, are you interested in the "Victorian Stun-gun"? ...Cool :love
A flintlock-like handle with a dynamo and a metal stick... Weird idea, I know ;)

Out of curiosity John...
Do you think we should start an "interest thread" for the gun after the holydays?

Oh, and Merry Christmas :D

Hey there-

Haven't been posting in a while, and just found this thread. JMtwo---HOLY S**T. Fantastic work. Out of curiosity, what do you charge, ball park, for laser cutting styrene? .010 and .020 mostly.
Ramiel - Top notch idea for a thread.. It is this type of thing that brought me to the RPF in the first place.
I guess I am in the same boat with Sith Sherrif Brody on the whole "Cyberpunk" thing. I love some of that stuff. Techno-gadgety in all its geekiness. :) Anything that relates to the whole man/ machine concept, I'm interested in.
Way back when there was a "Nuyen" bank note floating around here, (I think it was posted earlier), I did one of my own. Ill see if I can dig it up if anyone is interested.
In re: to this thread, I defintly like the revolver/rifle/ sword combo that was drawn up. Very cool idea.
I'm pretty good in photoshop, and at scratchbuilding things out of plastic. I do not have access to the high end tools like lasers and mills, but I'd love to help out where possible. Learning to use "Sketchup" right now, so maybe a 3d thing or two will show its ugly face in the near future.

Well, it's a great thing, 8 perf :)
More people interested, more projects, more FUN. :D
And just to let our Jedi Bailinkski know, I'm working on this:

A bigger "blueprint-ish" image...

Also, keep posting ideas for props, so I can try to work out some concept art from your ideas... ;)
