Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

Hey there
I seemed to have missed this thread up until now.
If you ever need the services of someone who works at a rapid prototyping shop I can always lend a hand.
In house we have an sla and 2 ftm machines.
All I need is an .stl file and I can do a quote on cost from that.
I also get the "I'm the shop manger" discount :)

Glad to have you on board SR. ;)

I am the one who is glad.
The first gun is great. Count with me when it will be needed hand work.
Regards.

Martin.

Hey, this thread seems to have popped out of nowhere. Really cool designs, I've been meaning to work on some of my own designs eventually but I keep getting sucked in to replica projects. Definitly keeping an eye on this thread.

Well... This thread IS popped out from nowhere... It was moved from the Off-Topic section after our request... ;)

That gun is awesome...Just Awesome.

How about designing a hypothetical magazine and some caseless rounds for display.
People love that kinda stuff...:D

Now..on to the submachine gun and the battle rifle to go with that gun...

You are designing one...aren't you? ;)

Matsuo is right, Mags and ammo for the pistol.

and someoen now does need to get a rifle to go with it...

Very nicely done.

I'm just catching up on the thread here, and I would suggest a few SW designs that haven't been touched yet.

The First would be the blaster Mara Jade wears in the small of her back, I did something using a $.99 pellet gun

A cleaner version, availible in bigger quantities would be alot of fun.

Kyle Katarn's Bryar would rock, even if I have done a hardware version of it.

I've never seen kits of Aura sing's Blasters either.

Sure.
(I love the battle rifle idea. :D )
And are you ready for making them? :love
[/b]

Me...making big guns? :D

As for being ready...If you ask the guys I still owe pulse rifles they'd say NO...:p

That being said, once I get caught up I'd love to get in on a big gun project.

I envision something that all of us can bring our talents to bear on, laser cutters, SLA prototypers, graphic designers and resin slingers.

I'd be keenly interested in seeing any designs you can come up with for a rifle that will compliment the new pistol.

Ramiel said it was OK to post this here.

This is an axe design I did a while back and I just got the first prototype cut out today.

I still have to round some edges, polish it up and add the cutting edge.

I would be all over one of these.

Thanks Super Jedi, I was having trouble finding a pic of that.

A nice rare pistol that I think people would love to get an affordable version of, I know I would.

As for the bryar here is the scanned image from the Graphic Novels. (It's the version I like best, but anyone can post captures from the video games) It's also the version I did my custom of.

And my version, just to give an idea.
Bryarfinal2-vi.jpg

Just a project I did to make a 3-D representation of a weapon from a book I liked.

This would be a Volund Arms Corp. submachinegun;
a "chopper" from H. Beam Piper's story, "Four Day Planet".

Yeah, I know the stock is too obviously crutches, but that was the genesis of the idea.
So now I have to disguise the shoulder stock to look more like a shoulder stock.

But I still like them.
I have two, one complete and the other in parts.

Thanks for the pics and ideas guys ;)
I've a good idea for the battle rifle Matsuo, but in the meantime...
What do you think about this Halo inspired space marine (and his rifle)?

BTW this is NOT the rifle I was talking about... ;)
