Is anybody interested in a "business" partnership...?

FB - you go right ahead. :D

Thanks Ramiel. I'm still really bad at following through on designs tho.

Here's something your pics made me do.

BeastKnifeSMALL.jpg

Totally impractical (full size it'd be around 12" long.), but it sure would scare the something outta someone. :)

It's got a finger notch just before the serrates begin - for close work, and a longer finger slot to allow it to be held backward - fighting knife style. :) Oh, and a single index finger hole so you can spin it like a cowboy. :D

I love spinning my knives (even without the index ring...)
I have to admit that I prefer smooth blades, but saw-like blades are scarier :D
BTW...
Here are the other views for the Blades of Chaos...

Southreplicas, if you can do them, you will make me (and, I know for sure, another person) happy.
VERY happy ;)

I remember... I remember also your interest in the triangle of light from tomb raider...
I will be honored to have your help, and to help you in your projects :)

I love the work you guys are doing.

If I can just toss out my opinion, as a person highly interested in these "hub guns", I happen to like the seperated fingers, but I have big fingers (Size 13/14 ring size) so if they are going to be tight/small I'd probably be willing to sacrifice the seperated fingers to be able to play with the things.

Sorry on with the progress, this is a spectacular thread, all of you guys are posting great ideas and beautiful artwork. Franz, I really like the blades, they are kinda close to the GoW blades but different enough to be unique and super cool. I would kill to see a couple of them in metal.

Trying out a new weathering technique. This was originally just Franz's pic on white paper.

Ohhhhhh... I like it. ;)
Thanks for the help Tif. :)

:)

Not to be greedy. But I have to do the raygun.. That's very nice Ramiel. Do you have other views in the works?

It's hard to constantly re-invent the wheel but you do it so well Ramiel :thumbsup

So which software are you using for your illustrations? I'm still using Paintshop Pro 7 yet everyone else seems to be using Adobe Illustrator.

@ Jmtwo: If you want to do that gun, I will do the other views ;)

@ RKW: Thank you. Really.
Usually I use pencil & paper and Photoshop... For the blueprints I use Illustrator :)

That blade to the left looks wicked... ever considered extending it from the hand guard to the tip of the blade into a sword, rather than a dagger, making it long and narrow... that could look cool. That was my first thought when looking at it: "Hey, that would look cool as a sword". :thumbsup

EDIT: damn... gotta learn the difference between left and right... D'OH. :lol
