Ironman Wearable Wireless Ver.1 Arc Reactor (99% Movie Accurate)

Re: Wearable Ironman Ver.1 Arc Reactor (99% Movie Likeness/Hand Crafted/Found Item Bu

Hey hey. Fantastic job. That's amazing. What parts did you use for it? I'm running through my department store around here and found a few things. But can you point me in the right direction with what you used?

I love this arc reactor! It looks similar to ThrowingChicken's kit, which is also very cool. I'd rather build my own than buy the kit, as much as I'd like to support my fellow IM enthusiasts. I'm seriously looking forward to your build as I don't have a CNC machine or a 3D printer (yet).

I'm waiting until I have my IM-MKIV chest pepped out of JFCustom's foam files, then will build my arc reactor to fit the orifice.

Please post manufacturers and part numbers so I can track bits down at the local hardware store or order harder to find stuff online.

Once again, this right up there with the most legit looking arc reactors, so if you post the definitive build thread, it will be invaluable for all of us IM builders here on RPF.

pRoJectEarth7-- > would you be able to look up for all the parts you have used for us on ebay so we know exactly what parts we would need to make such a beauty?
Hope you wouldn't mind sharing it with us.

Thanks... I'm not sure though about the middle LED you are referring to :confused... if you look again on the photos closely, you will find the center of the arc are well lit :love:thumbsup

Are you going to try any other types? These are very accurate, how about a few pictures and tips on the build?
