Ironman Helmet hinge with Video Demo

Nice work! Have you tried reinforcing your hinges with fiberglass? I see you switched to a harder resin.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Mockle, I am a new member her at the rpf and I am following you on the hinges work.
I think you are doing a great job.
I just have a question and i will be very grateful if you can answer me.
So the question is where are you going to place/put/hold the Servo for the hinges, can you upload a video please?

not as of yet.. kinda lost interest. hinges work great.. so Ill get back at it. waiting on an helmet to try out.. no servo yet need to get that it expensive hate taking a chance on it but will do that soon.. servos work but there slow I want a powerful and fast one just not found it... been working on other projects .. thank you for the support.. Ill get back on track soon...:)

Could you please post a schematic of the system and helmet positioning?

Since I´m building myself a Mark-4, I have the basic same idea as you for the hinge system, but would like to compare projects.

Regardless, what seems like a common sense solution to a rather irritating problem, you have made seem effortlessly simple.

Keep up the great work .. I'm sure I'm not the only one anticipating your updates!

It's a great looking hinge system, I'm still trying to figure out how the heck to do some sort of hinge system on my MGS Grey Fox helmet, doing the hinges and servos on my Raiden headgear was easy, this is tricky.

Fantastic project! It's great to see someone revealing their method. It's also great to read that master Le has been banned. I can't help but wonder why he got banned, although will not ask as talk of him will certainly derail your thread.

Now I have absolutely no idea about electronics or servos. I know I need a hinge, a servo, a controller, and a power supply and I have seen various examples of each. But putting them all together is something that is blowing my mind. Is there a thread anywhere that teaches about these various bits of kit? How they actually work together.
