I'll finish it up tomorrow after work.
And to think, tony actually built a working repulser gauntlet in less time than I've been hot glueing pieces of foam together... :-/

I tried doing the back piece today and I complete failed.

1) i didnt do ANY layering like you did

2) I think my foam is a bit too thick 10mm

3) how did you get the seem to look so good?! did you cut slopes on both bit so they fit or did you just use super thin foam?

Many thanks!

That's why you have pep viewer / designer open. So you can see what angles you need to cut at. You could still cut apart your straight glues and cut the angles. It's easy watch stealth's tutorials on YouTube.

Also, all the foam on that back is 12mm. Just cut at angles and layered. :)

thanks dude with your quick reply!

I just gone through your posts and discovered you did 45 degree angles.
I really would love to watch all his videos but I dont have the time at all to go through each one. when I come home from work I only get 2 maybe 3 max hours of sunlight left so i have to crack on asap.

i cant seem to find any 12mm foam lying around so i will use 10mm for chest and back and 6mm for the arms, legs and bits and bots and 3mm like you did for the helmet.

i have also invested in a heat gun today so wish me luck!

thanks for all the advice again!

ps your pictures are brilliant for guiding noobs like me! I can see where all the curves are better than in the pep viewer.

Hey Helagak! Thanks for all the picture you posted! I couldnt have done made my suit without referencing your pictures! I found that some of the original files were a bit hard to read.

Anyhow massive thanks again!
