You know what though? If I were you, I'd pepped the entire thing,in order to keep the faceplate in shape to fit the rest of the helmet.
Doing the faceplate only is risky, I think. It may come out too wide or too narrow since it does not have any support.
But I'm not expert, so Finhead, Stealth your advice is needed here![]()
I'd have to agree there that's the biggest problem will pep work wetting the paper is going to warp things no matter how thick the stock is and it's going to make the base plane that much harder the get symmetrical plus if you build the rest of the helmet after the face plate and you try to get everything to line up the weight of the first piece could warp the rest of the helmet so best you just build a complete helmet then go back and cut the face plate and jaw line after the fact.
