Iron Man/War Machine EASY hand files

I've got a question for y'all.. I live in the Midwest with cold, cold winters. I want to make a pair of repulsor gloves very similar to these, that would work with fleece/wool/warm material/etc. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Could I use these files and make them slightly bigger to fit over top of an insulated/premade glove?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I would scale the PDF files prior to printing so that you can fit your hand in with whatever form of glove you chose. I found the file maybe 5% too small just for my bare hand on my first try.

Jowe has provided a really good and simple file to use so if at first you don't succeed, try try again!!

I think I know how to scale the glove and fingers, so the default is at 25 scaled. If I have skinny fingers do I just change it to 18-22ish?

Man i having a hard time with 3mm foam, wish I could get em to look like bugman's gloves :( Yours look awesome by the way! Thanks for the files JOwe.

I had to trash my first attempt, they look great on card stock but when i make the transfer to foam they just dont fit well. Not sure if i need to go bigger. Im gonna give it a second shot today.

Wow, this is a lifesaver... I was about to go to Dragon Con with now hands because I didnt have time to make new ones.

Thanks!!!

Second attempt with some slight changes in the templates. Took me a while but hopefully now that i got it straight and the other hand should be quicker.

soldering the wires to the leads would probably be the easiest way. i would put an inline switch in there also

j0we!
I'm a new member here. Also, I still do not know how to open up a 7z file.
I need the gloves. :))) Kinda rushin' for a school affair.

So, how do I print it? o_o
Please help this fool! T-T :cry

There are pdf files of the same thing in here, in page 2 or 3 I think. For the 7z files, just google .7z and you will find a program that will extract it.

Thank you for this awesome tutorial, going to try it out in a few moments.

Thanks Sgt and helagak! :thumbsup
This 7z is really new to me.
And I still don't have winrar. (new laptop)
So, thank you very much! :)))

I thought it's one of those microsoft pub file. :)))))) :facepalm

I am having a tough time finishing my Jowe glove (right hand). I tried to match up all the letters and look at the several available reference photos. The tricky part is closing up the glove by the thumb and the forefinger.

Please let me know what I did wrong or what needs to be done properly so i can move forward on my suit building progress..

thanks in advance

EDIT: I used 4mm foam in this glove because when I used 2mm foamie sheet..it ripped easy between the fingers.
