I didnt find the 42 a favourite. But I GOT it. Its more practical and more agile. Personally although not a bad film I get a sense of taint from shane black. The whole movie seemed to be undoing everything that has been done. Arc reactor. Suits. House. May not be his decision I dont know.

But why does he feel the need to set films at xmas? Is it supposed to be his signature? Cos all through the films theres NO reason it has to be at xmas. NONE! Its so weird hearing xmas songs in a film thats not being watched in december. I hate the thought of something being done for the hell of it. The movie should come first. Above some stamp that the director thinks makes him unique. If there was a reason it would be fine. But every time that record plays in the movie it ruins the scene for me. Thats supposed to be a big impact scene. The suit up scene.

On a side note. Although im2 I rate the lowest. Its got the best opening scene. Pow!

I think you mean the Mark VI, the Mark VII was the suit Tony used in the Battle of New York in The Avengers

Don't beat yourself up....I HATE Roman Numerals. I only know the ones used for IM suits!

I prefer the Mark II and work on it. It´s the only one that looks more mechanical for me.
Also the war machine. Both have edges and corners. From Mark III they look for me too
smooth like it is the sunday suit for dinner.
