Iron Man Mk VI Pep Update! Pic Heavy

Hey guys! Im new to the rpf. I got really inspired to make an iron man costume by guys like STEALTH, xRobots, MasterLe and BlackDynamo1. Im 16 attempting to make an ironman suit out of pepakura. Very first build so go easy please any tips, constructive criticism will be greatly accepted

:behave AHHHH ITS xROBOTS dude i love your foam suits! i watched your tutorials and i was so ready to make an iron man suit using your techniques and everything but got persuaded by others to do a pep suit XD

Good to see a fellow adolescent building a suit! I went down the foam route (then plastic coating using xrobots' method ^.^), I just couldn't do with the folding :L How did you find time for this?!? It looks great! Looking forward to see how you progress!

hahaha thanks! Im working on the abs as i type XD. and i dunno.. school isnt really much stress anymore cus finals are coming up and i just load up a movie or a tv show and let it play while i pep.. XD

Okay. So i found this stuff called envirotex lite. Its a two part resin that sets fairly quickly. Its a ncie enough alternative to fiberglass resin. When it sets and cures, its fairly stiff and flexible. It hardens into almost like a plastic coat. I just have one problem though, does Bodno stick to a very slick surface? the envirotex leaves a very smooth and glossy finish. Is this okay?

So Im still having trouble finding fiberglass resin, cloth, and bondo. However, i did manage to run into this stuff called envirotex lite and I must say, I am very pleased with it. It practically hardens the paper and leaves a nice smooth finish to work bondo over it. Here are some of the pieces coated in the stuff. Once i get cloth and put it in the inside along with the envirotex, it will be just as good, if not better than fiberglass resined pieces.

I also finished pepping the right leg, cod, and abs. I still need to finish the left leg, boots, and redo the gloves. I want to do the gloves by zabana instead of the one that came with Robos 4/6 files.
