Iron Man MK V proyect

The helmet looks awesome (Suit also, but I said that hundred times before XD ). I have the urge to carry it in briefcase mode where ever I go... XD XD

well again I modificate the spine, I think that is the last modification and I start to make internal parts for movement & rotation, and tonight I hope finish all arms, up arm is "wow", I like finish complete to show it,

I modify again the neck, really there is no much pics of the real armor, and toys, bust, are totaly diferents in all parts, and the most important thing is that the armor must wearable and no rubber, plastic or capucchino (?) only alumm and steel , I need suggestions really, critics, thats fine, thats horrible, thats is near model, away, I try finish the arm but now I put to make corrections at the chest again, is a f..ing sh#@!!& I cant finish 1 part at all :angry

If anything, i would go off of the movie version, since that would be most accurate. Heres a pic someone sent me a while back and i hope it can help :)

HHaaaa thanks Jackie, but let´s rock ! hahahaha

Yes, some 1 tells me that´s is from the DVD, I download the video and take some pics, thats angle I no have, thanks a lot, all helps :thumbsup :D

I finish the arms and all upper body, I start legs and boots, so when all 3D design finish I gonna show it, patience.-:cheers

No words for this.

Coming from a ridiculously huge Iron Man fan, I think this is just out of this world!

And from my recently formed 'crafting' side. It's just such an inspiration seeing, what appears to me, as a revolutionary step forwarding in crafting. Stroke of genius my friend, stroke of absolute genius!

tonight I show more, I believe finish the body but I don´t like some parts so I'll do some modifications :facepalm, arms they are finished but I need finish upper body before for integrate the model, I have recived the hot toys 1:6 model of the Mk V, helps me a lot.- :)

I have progressed quite well with the model in the sense scale and proportion of the parts, I really want to make it as real as possible in movements that follow the line of the original model, the model 1:6 scale hot toys this well so to speak, but differs from the model of the movie in parts, the less visible and necessary for my model, so I'll have to improvise and try not to deviate from the original. I hope finisth tomorrow all up parts with details and start legs and boots.

Mark V Suit

Specifications: Iron Man Armored, Flying Suit, Mark V

Armor exterior Dimensions:
Height (overall): 75 in.
Width (overall): 34 in.
Width (short axis): 21 in.
Weight: 215 lbs.

Armor composition:
Surface/primary Layer: High carbon, steel/iron alloy, including trace technetium-niobium arranged in a finely tessellated mail.
Secondary Layer: Comprised of various thermoelectric generators, temperature insulators and regulators.
Tertiary Layer: Consists of two independent, 'crimped' armature electric motors that are aligned at right angles to each other, which can simulate human musculature movement.
Special Features: Each layer possesses integrated communication, power-handling and control circuitry - with regions, which contain certain large area specializations, such as the simulation of a specific muscle.
Note: Suit's microscopic scale chain mail is made rigid by numerous computer-controlled magnetic beam generators. These generators can sense and amplify the suit wearer's motions and strength. Discrete networks of them are arranged, in conjunction with the full-body system of DC motors, to mimic the function of human musculature.

Armor Articulation Motivation:
Musculature enhancement: Amplifies wearer's strength about 75 times.
Limits: DC electric motors allow for severe overloading with a theoretical limit of 1,000% for .0085 seconds.

Power Supply:
Type: High-density storage battery, AC/DC electricity.
Primary: Cryogenic flat batteries.
Secondary: Solar power converters, regrouped in microscopic ridges for improved collection efficiency, arrayed on shoulders and headpiece.
Tertiary (back-up): Any electric potential, whether generated or naturally occurring, such as heat.

Armor System Controls:
Type: Automatic, computerized, body motion following.
Sub-Systems: Local networks of muscle groups and high-density computers, which control large scale movements such as walking.
Special Features: Armor is comprised of finely tessellated mail, which can minimize sudden compressions, such as a blow, by racially dissipating the energy throughout the suit.
Note: There are numerous spoken and cybernetically interpreted commands, but they are limited because of lack of computer memory and programming volume.

Articulation Seals/reinforcement: All magnetic. Because the seals are microscopically scaled, the actual measure of certain internal seals are several inches when the surface measure would be only one inch.

Life Support:
Range: High altitude to deep water: 70,000 feet above to 1,000 feet below sea level.
Air Supply Duration: 1.7 hours
Pressure: Normal atmosphere (14.7 pounds per square inch) provided internally over a wide external range.
Temperature: 73° Fahrenheit internal, over -185° F to 2,500° F external. .85°-140° internal, over 2,500°-15,000° F. external.

Environment Design Program:
Type: Full spectrum chemical, biological, nuclear environment
Range: Two months on filtered external air
Exposure: Low-level radiation over 2 month period; suit can tolerate short periods of high radiation by stepping up magnetic beam generator's activity

Propulsion Systems:
Type: Each boot contains two miniature, magnetically powered turbines, which compress ambient air into incandescence to generate thrust.
Maximum Speed: Mach 1.2 (960 mph)
Lift Capacity: 2,700 lbs.
Range: Practically unlimited at moderate speeds. About 1,800 miles (100% load), 3,500 miles (50% load).
Note: Unloaded, the suit can attain an altitude of 70,000 feet. At maximum load the average altitude is 8,000 feet.
Fuel: Ambient air.
Navigation: Suit is equipped with internal guidance, laser gyroscopic movement sensor and LORAN C as mutual/redundant navigation and ground positioning aids.
Special Features: Each boot is equipped with small cryogenic storage tank containing liquid air which are able to fuel the mini-turbines is non-atmospheric environments.

Weapon Sub-Systems:
Offensive:
Primary: Repulsor Rays
Description: Pulsed, laser-path guided, medium-density plasma projectors.
Range: 40 feet
Limits: The suit palm blasters are able to fire for very short periods of time. The duty cycle allows for a 25% cooling period.
Secondary: Suit Skin
Description: The outer surface of the armor is equipped with devices, which are able to convert thermal energy into usable electricity. Above a certain temperature the suit employs an electronic cooling network to protect the suit operator.
Limits: About 15,000° Fahrenheit.
Note: The suit can optimally function over a range of -185° F. to 15,000°F.

Available in four months.
