Is it normal when I open the downloaded file only is the faceplate there? Or maybe is some kind of issue with my 3d sw

Same thing happened to me. Just the faceplate there.

that rare, the design is good, complete, ready to accommodate scales, just download it and export it to 3ds and still just as good, checked by Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 and 2013 & Sketchup; the 2009 uses less resources, try with AccuTrans3D is a powerful tool, Accutrans 3D
I'll be upload as 3ds, so you export it to stl using the parameters that you like, possibly the stl that I send, is that I use it to print and I not have any problem, so, check now guys, greetings

Great work!!!! I have spent months searching for drawings just like this that i can download and 3d print, and i havent found anything anywhere as good as yours.
Have you considered allowing anyone to download and print the entire suit?

Figured out the trouble. When exported from Max, all the layers were selected. When opened this way in Max or Accutrans3D, everything loads up fine. But when I try to export from AccuTrans3D it warns that all layers are selected and some 3d software won't be able to read the file correctly. Such software like Nettfabb, Blender, even Autodesk MeshMixer are ones that I tried.

After exporting the individual layers from AccuTrans3d as stl.'s everything loaded up individually fine.

Hello my friend, printed 50 % of the armor, with helmet and other internal parts, being working in the assembly and deploy of the case to the suit, I start from below, legs, Im near to finish this, really I like to finish first all the suit and then I show the entire construct process.

This suit,to me,tops all other Iron Man suits,just by the colours that have been used,let alone the design that is incredibly detailed.It will be an honor building this suit in the near future.
