Iron man helmet (Yes another) First stage of bondo with pics

First post so looking for any help and advice to come my way. Just done the first coat of bondo and started sanding it down. Not paying much attention to detail lines as i plan on adding them with my dremmel later on during the build.

I concentrate on the large flats (or relative flat surfaces) first, lightly skimming one and then sanding it down smooth before reskimming. Once all of the flats are fairly leveled, you can start fine tuning, drawing on panel edges and seems with a pencil to use as guides.
Definitely pick up some dark sandable primer and spray guide coats between sandings. Just mist the dark once or twice over the helmet areas, then when you sand it'll be much easier to find the highs/lows and other faults in the filler.
