Iron man helmet question

I got a ironman helmet from party city last night for $20 and its plastic and seperates in the middle to put it on. .

I have two questions.

- I want to know if there is a quick and easy way to make light up eyes and still be able to see through.

- I want to know if there is a way to make the plastic that the helmet is made of hard and durable


If there is I would want to use something that is safe to breathe in. I also plan to cut the face plate off and and make able to open up and close.

I recently got a war machine helmet of the same kind.
Lights could be as easy as a pair of sunglasses with leds in them.
Major work would have to be done to reforce the helm. fast cast resin would be good considering its plastic to begin with. fiber glass would melt the plastic.
frankly, these are way too small any ways. I found myself with a squished nose when i tried on mine :lol
