Thank you! It's a bit intimidating right now to be honest.

Here's what immediately jumped out at me to combine Iron Man with a Manalorian helmet. Forgive the phone-camera "scan".

My thinking here was to keep the iconic Iron Man brow line, but also incorporate the iconic T-shaped visor. I also drew this one with the Iron Man lower jaw, but I drew it without a reference so I'm sure it's a bit off. The 3/4 view is a little wonky as well, but you get the gist of it.

I also took one of your photos and did a 60-second photoshop job on it, just to see how it would look.

Left side, more Fett, right side, more Stark.

Is it me or does this have a slight Pred look as well?

Good call the angle does make it look "bio masky" There ya go, go three way with it! Predironfett!!!!

I was thinking the same thing.. Just the general shape of the helmet and the top of the T visor.

Those are some great looking ideas Jake, thanks for sharing ! I definately want to keep the Iron Man Eyes , brow, and the temple ridges. I'm still playing around with whether or not to incorporate a "chin" or not, that seems to make it too unbalanced toward the Iron Man aesthetic . I'm trying to think of it as if a Mandalorian found a damaged Iron Man helmet, and built his own Mando helmet around it, if that makes any sense. Going to go work on it right now !

After looking at what I drew a few more times, I finally realized what looked wrong to me. It looks way too much like the Republic trooper helmets.

Definitely makes more sense the way you're going with it.

Also remembered this helmet:

The JFO helmet variant from Halo: Reach. Very obviously inspired by Iron Man but they only used the lines on the visor to pull it off.

I definitely like what you have going though! Can't wait to see some updates.

Very cool concept. I'll stay posted to see it through. I like the thought of the green and gold combo, aged like bF's dented dome... the T shaped eyes in the concept sketch with the top vent are rock solid too.

I would fill the top vent if that were me, add the range finder and cut the T shape in too.

Thanks ! I honestly haven't made a final decision on the paint yet. I think I'm going to go with green helmet, red faceplate, and gold "ears". If that doesn't look right I'll probably switch the faceplate to gold and do the "ears" red.

I started the Mando helmet almost a year ago for a different project and it seems I didn't take proper care when doing the resin because now I'm having to do alot of repairs, carving out soft spots and fixing them so I cam get this thing smooth. This is just an example of why you should spend more time in the early stages to save time and lower your blood pressure later in the build !

Here are a couple more pics showing what I did tonight, I know it doesn't look very different but the helmet is ALOT smoother and I finally made a better way to attach the ear pucks by making a slight "sleeve" to plug them into. I may be able to start painting this thing tomorrow night.

I was finally able to resume painting tonight since the weather held up, I don't think I like the red on the ear parts, may have to sand those down and get another shade of red , IF they ever dry that is.

Thanks ! I think I am going to repaint those a darker red, right now I'll working on how to do a blaster mark.
