Iron Man Avengers armor

Are there any reference pics on this mark other than the "Assemble" series of posters that came out a few weeks ago? I have no idea if this version has any direct correlation to any of the comic suits.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

There is an image of the whole team from a recent licensing show and there was a figure at Comic-con. When I get to a computer, I will try to dig it up.

Yep, there's this one. I do plan to make this suit after I finish my Mark 6 suit that is set to debut this fall. People are calling this armor the Mark 8 for some reasons and they think it has space flight capabilities. I really like the way it looks but I wish they still kept the triangle chest shape.

Agreed on the triangle chest shape and I sure hope they don't give it space flight capabilities, I think that would be going a little overboard even though he does have a space suit in the comics it looks nothing like the one on the poster.

I know they changed the armor so they could offer a new marketing line post-IM2, but I wonder what the in-movie rationale would be for changing back to the circle.....

Swear to God - I was just thinking about that outing, like, two days ago. Hooters was OK, but the young Famke Janssen lookalike stripper will always be remembered fondly.

Ah yes. Hustler Honeys was a blast. Not much point in a lap dance with a fibreglass codpiece on though. You still in that part of the world?

No, no. That was Rick's Cabaret. I can't remember if you and I made it over to the Hustler Club that night; it's a bit more...tawdry than Rick's.

Yes, still here. However, over the last few years, I've been traveling a lot for work, hence my minimal presence on the boards.

Is your brother still here?

@Squirk

the arc reactor still in circle
the shape of the armor does not matter

I think

by google translate XD

From most of those images his Trapezius have change and added silver, the shoulders are different a shape. There are different details on the Biceps and thighs. And the waist looks more like the Mk4/6. And that's just to start.

Toys and Marketing aside. In the comics, Stark was often tweaking his armour, so have new variations per movie makes more overall sense than Batman or Superman.

The chest piece had a triangle in the trailer at the end of Captain America, and some silver or grey details on the shoulders and possibly the hip joints.

Thor was also not wearing sleeves.

need to see it on screen before I make an opinion

That toy is hideous! the posters look good though. I plan on making this one I think it looks cool, but I need to see a little more!
