Today I opened up FB and saw nothing but posts with the new trailer. It's one of those things that is screaming so loud you can't help but comment.

Not really. A few months back I couldn't blink without seeing a commercial for The Hobbit or seeing articles posted about it everywhere even though I didn't give a rat's ass about seeing it. I still didn't feel compelled to go into the thread on this forum about it and say I thought it looked awful. To each their own.

Never said IM3 looked awful, merely noted that I seem to be the only one not chomping at the bit for it. Heard the drowning noise and offered my squeak. Sorry to post something in this thread other than "OMG this is gonna be awesome!".

I have to say, I thought the trailers for Iron Man 2 made me more excited than these have. Not that I'm not looking forward to IM3, but the trailers really aren't selling it to me. Maybe I'm a little too interested in the Extremis arc and I'm kind of quasi worried about how they're going to handle it? Like, when I heard that the movie was taking a lot from Extremis, I immediately wanted two things to happen: Iron Man fighting crazy enhanciles, and Tony taking an Extremis dose himself to beat the bad guy. I'm still hopeful that both of these happen.

The whole "iron army" just makes me kind of face palm.

to be fair they had the iron man army in the comic book too.
i cant remember if it was in the extremis arc or in the one after that tho

I have to say one thing i'm not as enthused about, and that's the night time battle scene. I enjoyed the final battles in Iron Man and Iron Man 2, but i LOVED the Avengers scenes because you could actually SEE everything that was happening in the daylight. Bit bummed that we might not get to see these amazing armors in the light of day.

Fingers crossed that i'm wrong. Plus it makes it harder to get good screen shots to make costumes!!
