Interplanetary U-Haul Truck

I built this for a contest about a year ago, I had been working on it for years the Colonial Movers ship from Battlestar Galactica gave me the idea. The story behind it is that some time in the future we will be colonizing the Moon and we are going to need some way to get our stuff there. It's a 1/24 scale kit bash with just about everything but the kitchen sink. I got the U-Haul graphics from their website.

Love it!
Hope that guy fills it up before returning it. I'd hate to see what they charge for fuel for a half-million mile round trip. :)
 
now that's outstanding! great job!! makes me think of the movie 'space truckers' lol
 
That is pretty cool! There has to be a story in there somewhere....maybe have him running into a future shell station for a restroom break!
 
Very cool!

Having experienced U-haul's standard of maintenance for terrestrial vehicles, there's no way I'd take off in that thing! Plus, you just know they'd zip tie the O² and charge you out the wazoo if you used any.
