"Insignia white" paint-Ok for a base color for M. Falcon model?

Thanks for the advice. Any thoughts on TS-7 Racing White?

I actually picked up that color myself thinking it might be a good color. I keep meaning to test it out. One thing that kept holding me back was I believe it is a gloss finish.

Also, it might be a bit too ivory for the Falcon, although I can;t say for sure. I really should test it out on some scrap

Would it matter that TS-7 is gloss, if I use a Matt top coat anyway?

Talaris, I used Tamiya’s TS-7 on the Falcons Corridor’s cushions/padding followed by a clear Matt coat and weathering.
I’m certainly no expert regarding the Falcon’s basecoat but to my eye the Racing White is too white (almost cream like) when dry, but it’s your build mate so do what makes you happy.
I’ve added another pic (during my build) to show the contrast of it (TS-7) and the AS-20 (exterior hull) after clear coating and weathering.

It’s funny, to me from that picture they look like the same colour as the exterior, probably due to the lighting. Seeming as the fine molds 1/72 is the important one (and I don’t care about making an accurate replica from ROS), I think I’ll just use the 1/144 as a test and see how it goes.
