I'm working up the costumes and props to film a trailer for a script I'm trying to sell.
I don't need anyone to actually build the costumes for me. My problem is I don't sew or have access to anyone who does. Where I live, all the seamstresses are busy either making wedding gowns or altering military uniforms. I've talked to them and they just won't step outside their boxes...
What I need is some panels of fabric done up like ribbing, much like the quilting of a Darth Vader costume. My costumes will be more along the lines of the 2001 spacesuits, though. My idea is to use the quilted panels over a tailored jumpsuit, so an actual pattern for the whole suit is not necessary. I know that sounds terrible, but using these panels the way I need to is the best way to go. I'll definitely give a better explaination to anyone who would be helping me out!
Please contact me by email or phone if you're interested in helping out. There is compensation, I'm not asking for a free-bee!
