If I were you, I'd visit Tandy Leather and that leather store by Bonehead Tattoo on Hwy. 80 to see if any of the other parts of the necklace are standard leather dressing accessories.

Good find, but the bone structure on the original pin's skull looks more monkey-like (mainly in the brow) than the one you posted, which is human. Do you know the measurements of the ignition switch cover?

I had to quickly edit my post after I saw the difference, but here's a thought- Maybe they resculpted over it or over a molded copy. Theres lots of similarities with the shapes. If they went so far to alter a ride free pin or keychain holder. It wouldn't seem that odd for them to do this. They look very similar. They might have reworked it

I think motorcycle ignitions switch covers are bigger than what the size of the skull is supposed to be, but I could be wrong. The picture of the voodoo pin shown above is about the actual size of the original prop.

Here's something I found to use as the feathers coming out the top! They're actually called feathered hat mounts! The company can even customize these, such as any combination of feathers and colors!

I like the first one!

In terms of coloring, the third one looks closer to me. As seen in the screenshots and the Planet Hollywood photo, the feather is black. The first of the three hat mounts you have pictured looks more like "salt and pepper" -- a lot of white in there.

In terms of shape, though, I like the first one, too.

I wonder how much extra they charge for customizing a feather. If you're willing to look into it, you might consider sending them a copy of the close-up of the screen-used feather (the last shot in Post #32) and asking them whether they can match the size and shape. :love
