Interest Indiana Jones - "Peacock's Eye" Diamond (aka: Lao Che Diamond) CUBIC ZIRCONIA!!!

I think we're going to be coming back to revisit this jewel at some point. I have a feeling that its true shape (top down) is something more bevelled and pointed in one half, and rounded at the top. More like the "Peacock's Eye" in a peacock feather. I bet Regal Robot end up pulling it from the Lucasfilm archives and shocking us.
You think so, do you?... Not sure how more accurate we can get it...

Screencaps on the left, and CZ replica on the right...

No, I think it's great. Certainly a big improvement on anything that's come before. LOVE the new top "bump" you've finessed. And looking at the diameter circumference shape, I think the top left photo, showing the rounded back edge is correct to what you've done. (And for the most part when it's on Lao Che's table, I think that's accurate, as the "difficult" side of it is pointing away from camera.). But I'm looking at the bottom left shot on the floor and I'm seeing a flattened bevel on the near side. The closest analogy I can make for a shape is to (from memory) one of the Flight Of The Navigator ship morph incarnations.

This shape on the peacock feather is literally called "The Eye Of The Peacock". Whether coincidental, I don't know. Unless we ever get any archive shots, it's going to be a tough one to substantiate either way.

There is a bevel at the bottom... I just didn't angle my camera correctly to capture it to look exactly like the screencap. You can see it in my other pic on the first page.

Great!
What’s the PayPal?

Lao Che Air Freight just dropped mine off... They did not try offering me gold coins instead.

Brenton, once again you outdid yourself! Amazing piece! I am doubting if this is only a prop or the real thing!!! Many thanks!!!

Regards,
Vlad
