Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

This is the latest item i've just finished in photo shop which i,m going to display with my Last Crusade prop replicas, as i think it's something that Henry sr would do after meeting up with Marcus again after many years
Because you invested much work in your letter, I changed the Date of the Passage Ticket to 20 July 1938 :)

just a remark :) You talk about to meet several years later? It was in 1938, so maybe better a letter dated later?
Maybe I'm confused?

Seeing your nice pictures of the young Indy I got inspired and made the Boyscout ID and the First Class Scout Certificate.:)

Those are fabulous and if you’ve no objection, I’d love to use them in my Young Indy diary. Would you possibly be able to. share the un-aged versions?
Thanks.

Thank you. :) And of course you can! Thats why I'm sharing them  But unfortunately I don't have an unaged version. I used an already old looking ID. But I printed mine on Coffee stained thick paper to have both sides aged and looks really good. I will try though to deage it and make a clean version.

what about the date? When joined Junior the boy scouts? They moved to Moab in Utah in 1912?

Not much info on when he joined. But probably way earlier when he already held a life rank in 1912. But then again he was travelling a lot and it wasn't mentioned in the tv series. The ranks in the movie are not time period accurate as well and so are not the badges.

The life rank badge he wears wasn't introduced until 1913 and was only the third highest achievment in the scout hirarchie until it was switched with the star rank in 1920 to the second highest before eagle. Here an interesting article about the story of the rank in the movie.
(Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: What Boy Scout Rank Was Indy?)

So long story short  good enough for me ;)

Boyscouts (BSA) were founded in 1910. So it's the earliest Indy could have joined. My ID was from 1918 before I changed it to 1911.
all is a little bis confusing.
Maybe he joined in 1912 after moving to Moab???

I know that. The 1918 Card is for a Dispatcher for the Army and the second one is from the 1945-1960s.
Real hard to find something authentic from the right era...

But ist for fiction, so we all will do our very best vor cool fan made props

Maybe it's the Jones sr font i used makes it hard to read so you may of read it wrong as there's no mention of meeting up several years later

I made a new voyage home ticket with starting 20 July 1938. The voyage to New York lasts about 5 days, so it could be ok with the date you mentioned in your letter to Marcus?
