I was watching "in the mouth of madness" for the...i dont count how many times anymore ^^.....so i was thinking "it must be great to have the poster we can see just before Trent is entering in the theater" (sorry for my english)...thats how i found your thread...thanks to google. And what can i say ...simply awesome . Your work is so good, i cant believe it

So, my question is.....can we still order a batch of Sutter Canes books ? And , is it possible to have the "In the mouth of madness" cover at high resolution, so i can print it and have a big poster...hope im not too late ^^

but, i am not releasing any artwork as free paperprops. I spent way to long working on these, and we have all seen what happens when you post high res paperprops online.

This was one of those projects i really put my heart and soul in. Having been a huge Carpenter fan since my dad let me watch "The Thing" when i was 11.

The books immediately grabbed my attention when i saw ITMOM and i was extremely lucky my german friend Olli was kind enough to sent me high-res scans of his originals. Spending nearly 150 hours on restoring them only felt like the right thing to do as they are truely works of art imho.

Hope you can get them signed by the man. If he does, please post pics of him doing so if possible

I have always been terrible at puzzles.. but i put the pieces together.. and I am attempting to figure out where Hobbes End might be in NH... i thought he said in the movie that there was a marker showing where hobbes end is when you put the puzzle pieces together..... but i was mistaken.. and......so... that was incredibly pointless!

and Yes.. of course I know its ridiculous that i am even trying to figure this out.. but... I live in Derry Nh... and Stephen King has used the name Derry many times.. but in reference to Bangor Maine.. so I am basically curious if maybe they chose derry for that reason.. but having been to franconia a few times since my friends mom lives up there........due to the fact that its kinda a creepy too quiet type of place and the people are pretty weird.. sorry if you live there.... haha.. i think its probably closer to up there somewhere... if it was to exist at all.. also heard some very weird stories about some towns up north.. the sky going pitch black in the middle of day time.. strange things in the woods.. blah blah..

That's my favorite Carpenter movie by far and I loved those books, the creepy covers, the hidden map, all of it. Awesome job, I'm going to watch the movie again tonight now that I'm thinking about it!
