In demand prop parts

What are some of the prop parts that are in demand?
Is there any parts that haven't been made in a while that people need?

Maybe it's just me but that seems like an extraordinarly vague question. I mean the list could be a mile long i'm sure.

I going to have to say that the oregon scientific travel clock that was used to make the relitivity Tricorder in star trek Voyager. These are hard to find, and I know several people looking.

Probably even more in demand is the spas 12 handguard used for the aliens pulse rifle. When you can find them the price is quite high.

Might as well start a list for those who are able to make the parts.

What parts? Cast metal? Resin? Fiberglass? What kind of props? I assumed you we're asking if people needed you to make parts, without even specifying what kinds of things you can make.

I would say it would include what anyone here can make.

I'm just curious as to what parts people need.

I personally have experience with manual knee mills, lathes, surface grinders, and resin casting.

I'm sure that if there are people with other tallents that read the list of parts needed they would step up as well to lay fiberglass or cast metal.

That is why I said that we might as well make a list for those who are able to male parts.

I didn't mean to upset you by any means.

I've got one of those. Funny thing is I bought it to turn into a tricorder, but I'm actually using it as an alarm clock. :lol

Exactra 20 calculators. Man, every time I see one of those go up on E-bay they always start at about $9 then end at $40- $60.

You have brought up a great point. No one has ever made a replica bubble strip that matches an original. I want frosted plastic and backside detail.

The Single Point Scope used on DH-17's and Scout Blasters...EVIL to find at a decent quality!

Agreed. The few I have had my eye on recently have gone for ridiculousy high prices. I'd also like to see some grill section material used on the Han and Leia ANH blasters (and on Leia's ROTJ hero, along with machined barrel details) . So far I have only come across the Blast-tech version of the grill.

Uhh

Heiland Flash
MPP Flash
Graflex Flash
British Grenade used in Obi-Wan saber (along with all the other parts)
SPAS12 "cage" and pump

I'm sure there are lots more commonly wanted parts that are in high demand that others can list

How about Blade Runner blaster parts in metal.

There are a host of parts that could be upgraded to metal on the existing Off World Mfg. Blaster.

And the runs of clear resin cone tips for these with the translucent red rods which we hear talk of from time to time but they never materialize.
